The Jerwood/Cheltenham partnership
It is the dynamic partnership between Cheltenham Jazz Festival and the Jerwood Charitable Foundation that makes the series happen. A shared passion for promoting the most talented young jazz musicians has united the two organisations for the past six years.
The Jerwood Charitable Foundation is dedicated to imaginative and responsible funding in all areas of human endeavour and excellence, with particular emphasis on the arts. As well as Cheltenham Jazz Festival, the Charitable Foundation also supports Take Five with the PRSF and Serious, Jerwood Commissions at the Wapping Project, the Jerwood Opera Writing Programme at Aldeburgh, the Jerwood Artangel Open £1 million initiative for the contemporary arts, and many other projects.
